TGEV
TGEV refers to the Transmissible Gastroenteritis Virus. It is a species of the order Nidovirales, in the family Coronaviridae, and the genus Alphacoronavirus. TGEV is a highly contagious virus that primarily affects pigs, causing a severe and often fatal diarrheal disease known as Transmissible Gastroenteritis (TGE).
