TBL1XR1TBL1X refers to a putative fusion between the TBL1XR1 and TBL1X genes. Such a fusion results in a chimeric transcript that combines portions of both genes and has been reported in a small number of cancer samples. Both TBL1XR1 and TBL1X encode paralogous proteins that are components of transcriptional co-repressor complexes that regulate gene expression in response to nuclear receptors.
