Sürgs

Sürgs are an indigenous community traditionally located in the highland valleys and river basins of the central continent of Verdan. They are closely associated with the Surgic language, a member of the Surgic language family, and share a distinctive tradition of metalwork, weaving, and oral storytelling.

Historical records and archaeological evidence place Sürg settlements in the region from at least the early medieval period, with later migrations and interactions shaping their communities. The Sürgs maintained a continuous cultural lineage through oral transmission of history, law, and ritual, while adapting to changing political and economic conditions in neighboring regions.
