Sénégal
Sénégal is a country located on the westernmost tip of the African continent. It is bordered by Mauritania to the northeast, Mali to the east, Guinea and Guinea-Bissau to the south, and The Gambia to the southeast. The Atlantic Ocean lies to the west. The capital and largest city is Dakar. The country's geography is characterized by a relatively flat terrain, with savannas and Sahelian plains. The Senegal River forms much of its northern border.
