Säkerhetshotbedömning, often translated as security threat assessment or risk assessment, is a systematic process for identifying, analyzing, and evaluating potential threats to an organization, system, or asset. The primary goal is to understand the likelihood of a threat occurring and the potential impact if it does. This assessment forms the basis for developing and implementing appropriate security measures to mitigate identified risks.
