Sähkönkulutusalueille, often translated as electricity consumption areas or regions, are geographical divisions used in Finland for the purpose of electricity distribution and pricing. These areas are defined by the electricity network companies and reflect the specific infrastructure and operational costs associated with delivering electricity to different parts of the country.

The primary purpose of these areas is to establish regional electricity prices. While the cost of electricity itself, based on market trading, is largely uniform, the charges related to the grid transmission and distribution vary. These differences arise from factors such as the density of the population, the age and condition of the power lines, the geographical terrain, and the investments required for maintaining and upgrading the network in each area. Finland has several electricity distribution network operators, and each operates within its own defined sähkönkulutusalue. This system allows for pricing that reflects the actual costs of providing the service in each locality.
