Színkódok

Színkódok are a system of codes used to represent and identify colored characters in text. They were originally developed in the early 20th century, primarily for use in teleprinters and other typographic machines.

The színkód system is based on a series of numeric codes, each of which corresponds to a specific colored character or symbol. These codes were typically represented by a combination of numbers and letters, and were used to select the type of character or symbol, as well as the color in which it should be displayed.

The earliest színkód systems were mechanical in nature, relying on a system of typed metal characters and wires to control the printing process. Later versions of the system made use of electromechanical devices and electrical signals to enable more complex characters and colors.

Over time, színkód became a widely used standard for color graphics and text in computer systems, particularly in mainframe and minicomputer environments.
