Szlachy

Szlachy is a village located in the Gmina of Wąbrzeźno, within the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Voivodeship of Poland. Situated in the historical region of Greater Poland, the village lies approximately 10 kilometers northeast of Wąbrzeźno and around 50 kilometers northwest of Bydgoszcz, the largest city in the region. The area is characterized by its fertile farmland and scenic landscapes, typical of the Polish Lowlands.

The history of Szlachy dates back to medieval times, with early references appearing in documents from the 14th century. The village was originally part of the Kingdom of Poland and later fell under Prussian rule following the Partitions of Poland in the late 18th century.
