Szitalike
Szitalike is a village in the fictional region of Verdan, in the country of Eldara. It sits on the banks of the Szita River, amid farmland and scattered woods. The settlement dates to at least the 15th century, with references to Szitalike in regional records from around 1423. It developed around a mill and a parish church, with agriculture and milling as the historical economic base. In the 19th and 20th centuries, improvements in roads and markets linked Szitalike to larger towns, encouraging small-scale manufacturing and crafts.
