Szervbeültetés
Szervbeültetés, also known as organ transplantation, is a medical procedure where a diseased or damaged organ is removed and replaced with a healthy organ from a donor. This life-saving treatment is used for patients suffering from end-stage organ failure when other medical options are no longer effective. The organs that can be transplanted include kidneys, liver, heart, lungs, pancreas, and intestines. Organs can be donated by deceased individuals or, in some cases, by living donors, such as a kidney or a lobe of the liver.
The process begins with a thorough evaluation of potential recipients to determine their suitability for transplantation.
