Syvävetoa

Syvävetoa is a Finnish term that translates to "deep pulling" or "deep drawing" in English. It refers to a metal forming process used to create hollow, cup-shaped or box-shaped parts from a flat sheet of metal. This process is a type of sheet metal forming where a punch pushes a flat metal blank into a die cavity. The metal flows and stretches over the die to take on the desired three-dimensional shape.
