Syntymäkarttaa

Syntymäkartta, often translated as birth chart or natal chart, is a foundational concept in astrology. It is a snapshot of the celestial bodies' positions at the precise moment of an individual's birth, as viewed from their specific birthplace. This cosmic map is believed to represent an individual's unique personality, potential, and life path.

The construction of a syntymäkartta involves calculating the positions of the Sun, Moon, planets, and other celestial points within the zodiacal belt and their corresponding houses. The zodiac is divided into twelve signs, each with distinct archetypal energies, while the twelve houses represent different areas of life, such as career, relationships, and self-expression. The relationships between these planets and signs, known as aspects, are also analyzed to provide further layers of interpretation.
