Suojeluskyvyn
Suojeluskyvyn is a historical military organization established in Finland during the early 20th century. The name "Suojeluskyvyn" translates to "Defense Force" or "Protection Force" in Finnish. Originally formed in 1918, its primary purpose was to support the Finnish Defence Forces and contribute to national security, particularly during times of unrest and war.
The organization was composed mainly of volunteer reservists, including civilians who underwent military training and drills.
Throughout the 1920s and 1930s, the Suojeluskyvyn was influenced by similar volunteer defense organizations across Europe.
