Sulkuluokkien

Sulkuluokkien refer to a type of conical or trumpet-shaped rock formation found in the Arctic regions, particularly in Finland and other Nordic countries. These formations are typically made up of layered rocks, such as slate or schist, that have been eroded over time.

Geologically, Sulkuluokkien formations are products of glacial erosion, which has shaped the underlying rock into distinctive shapes. The shapes are formed through the abrasive action of moving ice, which wears away the rock's surface and creates cavities that gradually become larger. Over time, the surrounding rock collapses into these cavities, creating the characteristic conical or trumpet shape.
