Sulfaatrühm

Sulfaatrühm is the Estonian term for the sulfate group, a functional group chemically represented by the anion SO4 2-. It consists of a central sulfur atom surrounded by four oxygen atoms in a tetrahedral arrangement. In its typical oxidation state of +6, sulfur is bonded to each oxygen via a single bond, while each oxygen carries a formal negative charge.
