Subdokumenten
Subdokumenten are subordinate documents that are contained within, or referenced by, a larger master document. They are commonly used in legal, technical, and publishing contexts to break complex documents into manageable, logically‐structured components. Each subdokument contains its own title, content, and sometimes metadata, but is linked to the master document through a reference or inclusion mechanism. In the legal domain, for instance, a contract can be composed of multiple subdokumenten such as clauses, annexes, and schedules that are individually drafted, edited, and versioned before being assembled into the final contract. This modular approach allows multiple authors to work simultaneously on different sections without interfering with each other’s work.
In technical documentation and software development, subdokumenten enable a hierarchical representation of code, requirements, or specifications.
Common mechanisms for incorporating subdokumenten include include directives in markup languages, master‑worker processes in document management
