Strandstol

Strandstol is a portable, folding chair used for outdoor seating on beaches and other open-air spaces, primarily in Sweden and other Nordic countries. It is designed to provide a low seating position with a comfortable backrest and quick setup for day trips, picnics, or coastal strolls. The chair typically features a lightweight wooden frame, traditionally made from ash or beech, paired with a durable fabric seat and back. Modern versions may incorporate metal or plastic components and weather-resistant fabrics. The backrest is usually adjustable to several reclining angles, and many models include a fold-out footrest or small accessories such as a headrest cushion or carrying strap.
