Stoliczka

Stoliczka is a surname of Czech origin. The name is most commonly associated with Ferdinand Stoliczka (1838–1874), a Czech-born naturalist who worked in British India as a geologist, zoologist, and paleontologist. He joined the Geological Survey of India and conducted extensive fieldwork across the Indian subcontinent, collecting specimens and documenting the region’s geology and biodiversity.
