Stockstadt
Stockstadt am Rhein is a municipality in the district of Groß-Gerau in Hesse, Germany. It is situated on the left bank of the Rhine river, across from the city of Aschaffenburg in Bavaria. The town has a population of approximately 13,000 people. Stockstadt's history dates back to Roman times, with evidence of a Roman fort and settlement found in the area. It later developed into a fishing village and a center for trade along the Rhine.
