Staubwerte
Staubwerte refers to measurements of airborne particulate matter, commonly known as dust. These values are crucial indicators of air quality and can have significant implications for public health, environmental monitoring, and industrial processes. Particulate matter is categorized by its size, with the most common measurements focusing on PM10 (particles with a diameter of 10 micrometers or less) and PM2.5 (particles with a diameter of 2.5 micrometers or less). These fine particles can be inhaled deep into the lungs, leading to respiratory and cardiovascular problems.
Staubwerte are typically measured using specialized equipment that collects particles from the air onto a filter.
