Starlord

Star-Lord is the alias of Peter Quill, a fictional character appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. Created by Steve Englehart and Steve Gan, Star-Lord first appeared in Marvel Preview #4 in 1976. He is an extraterrestrial alien from the planet Morag, but was born on Earth to a human mother and an alien father. Quill is known for his roguish charm, his distinctive helmet, and his love of 1970s and 1980s music.

Star-Lord's origin story involves his mother's death and his subsequent abduction by the alien race known as the Ravagers. He was raised by the Ravagers, who trained him in combat and thievery. Over time, Quill embraced his role as Star-Lord, a cosmic adventurer and protector of the galaxy. He often finds himself on the wrong side of the law but possesses a strong moral compass, usually fighting for the greater good.

He is a key member of the Guardians of the Galaxy, a team of disparate alien heroes who band together to protect the universe from various threats. His leadership of the Guardians is often characterized by his unconventional methods and his ability to inspire loyalty in his often-difficult teammates.
