Stakozlar

Stakozlar, commonly known as dragonflies in English, are a group of flying insects belonging to the order Odonata, which also includes damselflies. They are known for their slender, elongated bodies, large multifaceted eyes, and two pairs of strong, transparent wings. Stakozlar are highly efficient fliers, capable of rapid movements, hovering, and even backward flight, which makes them one of the most agile insect groups.

These insects are found worldwide, except in polar regions, and thrive in a variety of freshwater habitats such as ponds, lakes, rivers, and marshes. Their life cycle consists of three distinct stages: the egg, nymph, and adult. The egg stage is laid in or near water, depending on the species.
