Stabiilisuusohjausta, often translated as Electronic Stability Control (ESC) or Dynamic Stability Control (DSC), is a crucial safety system found in modern vehicles. Its primary function is to help drivers maintain control of their vehicle during extreme driving situations, such as sharp turns or sudden evasive maneuvers, thereby preventing skids and rollovers. The system works by detecting a loss of steering control and automatically applying individual brakes to assist the driver in steering the vehicle back onto its intended path.
