Sprinklersüsteem refers to a fire suppression system that uses a network of piping with sprinkler heads. When a fire is detected, the heat causes a sprinkler head to activate, releasing water onto the fire. These systems are designed to control or extinguish fires in their early stages, significantly reducing damage and improving safety. They are commonly found in commercial buildings, industrial facilities, and increasingly in residential properties.

The components of a typical sprinklersüsteem include a water supply, control valves, piping, and sprinkler heads. The water supply can come from a municipal water main, a dedicated water tank, or a fire pump. Control valves regulate the flow of water and allow for system maintenance. The piping, usually made of steel or plastic, distributes water throughout the area protected by the system. When the ambient temperature reaches a predetermined level, the heat-sensitive element breaks or melts, opening the sprinkler head and allowing water to flow. Modern sprinklersüsteem designs often aim to activate only the sprinkler heads directly affected by the fire, minimizing water damage to unaffected areas. Different types of sprinkler heads exist, designed for various applications and fire hazards, including pendent, upright, and sidewall styles.
