Splashdamaging
Splashdamaging is a term used in video games, particularly in genres like first-person shooters and MOBAs, to describe damage that affects multiple targets simultaneously. This type of damage is typically dealt by weapons or abilities that have an area of effect (AoE) component. For instance, a grenade explosion might splash damage onto enemies in a radius around the point of impact, even if the direct hit landed elsewhere. Similarly, certain spells or character abilities can be designed to affect all enemies within a designated zone.
The effectiveness of splashdamaging lies in its ability to control crowds, clear out groups of weaker enemies
