Spiraalset

Spiraalset is a term that can refer to several related concepts, generally describing something that follows a spiral path or exhibits a spiral shape. In geometry, a spiral is a curve which emanates from a central point, getting progressively farther away as it revolves around the point. Common examples include the Archimedean spiral, logarithmic spiral, and the Fibonacci spiral, which is closely related to the golden ratio. These mathematical spirals appear frequently in nature.

In botany, spiraalset describes the arrangement of leaves or other plant parts on a stem, where they grow in a helical or spiral pattern.
