Spelsituation
Spelsituation is a term used in sports analysis and commentary to describe the current phase or state of play in a game. It encompasses who has possession of the ball or puck, the positions and arrangement of players, the location on the field or court, the current score, the time remaining, and any active rules or constraints (such as penalties, power plays, or clock rules). The concept provides a framework for understanding why teams choose particular actions at a given moment.
