Solklockan
Solklockan is a Swedish term that translates to sundial. A sundial is an ancient astronomical instrument that tells the time of day by the apparent position of the Sun. It consists of a gnomon, which casts a shadow, and a surface marked with lines representing the hours. As the Sun moves across the sky, the shadow cast by the gnomon moves along these lines, indicating the current time.
Sundials have been used for thousands of years, with early examples found in ancient Egypt and Babylon.
While no longer used for precise timekeeping in the modern era, sundials remain popular as decorative garden
