Soijaallergiat, also known as soy allergy, is a type of food allergy that occurs when the body's immune system reacts to proteins found in soybeans.

Soybeans are legumes that are commonly used as an ingredient in food products, especially in Asian cuisine. Soijaallergiat can occur at any age, but it is most commonly seen in infants and young children who are fed soy-based formula. Adults can also develop a soy allergy, especially if they have a history of allergies or eczema.

Diagnosing a soy allergy typically involves a combination of medical history, physical examination, and laboratory tests, such as blood tests or skin prick tests. Treatment for a soy allergy involves avoiding soy products and, in severe cases, administering adrenaline or corticosteroids.
