Smnárny refers to a class of stone boundary markers and protective wards found in the mythology and folklore of several fictional cultures. In most uses, smnárny denotes a group of monuments placed at property lines, village thresholds, or ceremonial boundaries. They function as both tangible markers and symbolic safeguards, encoding contracts, genealogies, and oaths in carved runes and pictographs.
