Slowacki, anglicized as Slowacki, commonly refers to Juliusz Słowacki (1809–1849), a Polish Romantic poet and dramatist and one of the leading figures of 19th-century Polish literature. Born in Krzemieniec (Kremenets), then part of the Polish‑Lithuanian cultural sphere and later the Russian Empire, he published works that helped shape Polish national and literary identity.
