Skuldare

Skuldare is a term originating from Old Norse mythology, referring to one of the three Norns. The Norns are female beings who determine the fate of gods and men. Skuldare is the youngest of the three, representing the future. She is often depicted as stern and resolute, embodying the unalterable nature of destiny. Her sisters are Urd, who represents the past, and Verdandi, who represents the present. Together, they reside at the Well of Urd, weaving the threads of fate at the base of the world tree, Yggdrasil. Skuldare's role is crucial in the cosmic order, as she dictates what is yet to come. Her presence emphasizes the Norse belief in a predetermined fate that even the gods cannot escape.
