Skjuvbrott
Skjuvbrott is a term used in Norwegian law to describe a property crime involving the unlawful taking of another person’s movable property with the intent to permanently deprive the owner. The term covers acts where property is taken by stealth, or by entering a building, vehicle, or other space, and is thus related to both theft (tyveri) and burglary (innbrudd) depending on the circumstances. The core elements are: taking property belonging to another; without the owner’s consent; with the intent to permanently deprive; and without legal justification.
In practice, definitions can vary by jurisdiction, and some authorities use skjuvbrott as a broad category
