Skarvaker

Skarvaker is a Swedish hardcore punk band formed in Gothenburg in 2007. The group consists of Simon Rosén on vocals, Johan Steene on guitar, Mikael Ågren on guitar, Jesper Dahlbäck on bass, and Johan Brandell on drums.

Skarvaker's music is known for its fast-paced, aggressive sound and often incorporates elements of melodic hardcore and post-hardcore. Their lyrics frequently center around social and existential themes, exploring topics such as alienation, disaffection, and the search for meaning.

The band released their debut album, Fläsket (which translates to "the pig" in English), in 2008, followed by a self-titled second album in 2010. These early releases were met with a positive reception from hardcore punk fans, with critics praising the band's raw energy and heartfelt lyrics.

Skarvaker's third full-length album, Revolution, was released in 2012 to further critical acclaim, showcasing the band's growth and experimentation. This album saw the group incorporating more complex time signatures and atmospheric soundscapes into their music.

They have since released several more albums, each refining the band's unique sound and thematic exploration.
