Skalningsvägar
Skalningsvägar, or scaling paths, are conceptual routes within a system or process that describe how performance or capacity can be increased. The term is often used in the context of computing and software development, but can also apply to other fields like manufacturing or economics. A scaling path illustrates the different strategies or architectural changes that can be employed to handle growing demands, such as an increasing number of users, larger datasets, or higher transaction volumes.
There are generally two primary types of scaling paths: vertical scaling and horizontal scaling. Vertical scaling,
Horizontal scaling, or scaling out, involves adding more instances of existing components to distribute the workload.
