Siyosa is a fictional coastal town in the imagined nation of Veridia on the continent of Ilara. It serves as the administrative center of Siyosa District and is described as a regional commercial hub due to its natural harbor and seafood industries.

Geography and setting: The town lies along the Sora River delta and has a tropical savanna climate with distinct dry and wet seasons. The harbor supports fishing fleets and small-scale processing facilities, making it a focal point for local trade.

History: Siyosa originated in the late 17th century as a trading post and grew under various regional powers before attaining municipal status in 1852. Port facilities expanded in the 20th century, and the town underwent economic diversification during Veridia’s federation period beginning in the 1990s.

Population and society: As of 2020, the population was around 18,000. The community includes Veridians and smaller coastal trader groups, with Veridian and Siyosan as common languages. The town preserves traditional crafts and hosts a seaside festival in spring.
