Siuan

Siuan Sanche is a fictional character in the Wheel of Time series by Robert Jordan. She is an Aes Sedai of the Blue Ajah and serves as the Amyrlin Seat, the leader of the White Tower, for a period in the early books. Siuan is known for blunt, pragmatic leadership, being decisive, resourceful, and capable in political maneuvering within the Tower and in the wider world. She forms a close alliance with Moiraine Damodred, another powerful Blue Ajah Aes Sedai, and plays a central role in the early pursuit of the Dragon Reborn. Siuan’s tenure as Amyrlin ends when a factional coup within the White Tower leads to her deposition; Elaida becomes the new head of the Tower. After the coup, Siuan’s fate and whereabouts continue to affect the series as she reappears at key moments and remains an important figure in the larger conflict between White Tower factions. Her legacy in the series is her leadership style and her role in advancing the protagonists’ quests.
