Situácii

Situácii is a Slovak grammatical form: the dative and locative singular of the feminine noun situácia, which means “situation” or “state of affairs.” It is used after prepositions to indicate the location in relation to a situation or to mark the topic of discussion, most commonly after v (in) and o (about): for example, v situácii (in a situation) and o situácii (about the situation).

Meaning and usage: The core sense of situácia is a set of circumstances or conditions at a given time. The form situácii appears in everyday language, journalism, business, and politics when describing a particular situation or when referring to discussions about that situation. It contrasts with other cases of situácia, such as situáciu (accusative, as a direct object) and situáciu/operational phrases in different grammatical roles.
