Sisulus is a fictional planet located in the outer reaches of the Andromeda galaxy. It is a terrestrial world with a breathable atmosphere, though its composition is richer in oxygen than Earth's, leading to more vibrant and intense plant life. The planet's surface is dominated by vast, crystalline forests where flora exhibits bioluminescent properties, creating a dazzling spectacle at night. The dominant geological features include towering, obsidian mountains and deep, sapphire-colored oceans.

The indigenous sentient species of Sisulus are known as the Lumina. They are a silicon-based lifeform, characterized by their translucent, crystalline bodies that refract light in intricate patterns. The Lumina possess a unique form of telepathic communication and have developed a highly advanced, yet non-intrusive, civilization that lives in harmony with their environment. Their society is structured around communal living and a deep reverence for the natural world. They have no concept of individual ownership, instead sharing resources and knowledge freely.

Sisulus experiences two distinct seasons: a long period of intense solar radiation, during which the Lumina retreat into subterranean caverns, and a shorter, cooler period characterized by abundant rainfall and increased bioluminescence. The planet's star, a binary system, emits light in a spectrum that stimulates the crystalline structures of both the flora and the Lumina, contributing to their unique characteristics. Exploration of Sisulus is limited due to its extreme distance and the Lumina's preference for isolation.
