Once a judgment is rendered, it can be enforced by a bailiff. The bailiff has various powers to satisfy the judgment, including seizing the debtor's movable and immovable property, garnishing bank accounts, and levying wages.

Alternatively, for undisputed monetary claims, a creditor can pursue an expedited out-of-court enforcement procedure through a notary. This process is generally faster and less costly than a court lawsuit, provided the debtor does not contest the claim. The notary's enforcement order has the same legal force as a court judgment and can be handed over to a bailiff for execution.

In certain situations, specific types of debts may have dedicated recovery channels. For example, tax debts are collected by the Estonian Tax and Customs Board through administrative procedures. Similarly, certain social security benefits or fines might be recoverable through specialized administrative enforcement.
