Sisendväljundimpedants refers to the electrical impedance seen when looking into the input or output terminals of an electronic circuit or device. Impedance, measured in ohms, is a measure of the opposition to alternating current (AC) flow. It encompasses both resistance (opposition to current flow regardless of frequency) and reactance (opposition to current flow that depends on frequency, arising from capacitors and inductors).

Input impedance is the impedance presented by the input terminals of a device to the source connected to it. A high input impedance is generally desirable for many devices, such as amplifiers, because it minimizes the loading effect on the preceding stage or signal source. This means that the input impedance draws very little current, allowing the source to deliver its signal with minimal distortion or attenuation.

Output impedance, conversely, is the impedance presented by the output terminals of a device to the load connected to it. A low output impedance is often desired for devices like amplifiers, as it allows them to efficiently deliver power to the load and maintain a stable output voltage across a range of load conditions. This is because a low output impedance minimizes voltage drops within the device itself when current is drawn by the load.

The relationship between source impedance, input impedance, and output impedance is crucial for efficient signal transfer and power transfer in electronic systems. Mismatched impedances can lead to signal reflections, power loss, and reduced performance. Therefore, understanding and controlling input and output impedance is a fundamental aspect of electronic circuit design.
