Sirpaleen

Sirpaleen is a rare mineral described in the fictional realm of Eldoria. Noted for its shifting iridescence and subtle warmth, it has become a focal point in geological and arcane studies within this setting. The name is derived from the ancient Sirpalan word sirpa, meaning light-reflecting stone.

Sirpaleen typically appears as translucent chips or nodules with a color-play ranging from pale blue to violet. It has a vitreous luster and a hardness around 6 on the Mohs scale. The mineral is resistant to weathering and exhibits luminescence under moonlight or when exposed to arcane energy.

Sirpaleen forms in hydrothermal veins within high-grade metamorphic rocks such as schist and gneiss, often near granitic intrusions. It is most common in the northern belts of Eldoria, though it remains scarce. It is commonly associated with quartz, magnetite, and beryl.
