Silaanipäällysteet

Silaanipäällysteet, often translated as silane coatings, are a class of chemical treatments designed to modify the surface properties of various materials. They are based on organosilane compounds, which possess a unique molecular structure that allows them to form strong chemical bonds with both inorganic and organic substrates. Typically, these molecules have a silicon atom bonded to alkoxy or chloro groups, which can hydrolyze in the presence of moisture to form reactive silanol groups.
