Sigmundr is a prominent figure in Norse mythology, primarily known for his role in the Völsunga Saga. He is the son of the legendary hero Sigmund and the sorceress Hjordis. His lineage is traced back to the god Odin, who had previously gifted Sigmundr's father with the magic sword Gram.
