Shikotsuko
Shikotsuko is a caldera lake located in Shikotsu-Toya National Park in Hokkaido, Japan. It is the second largest lake in Japan by surface area and the twelfth largest overall. The lake is known for its exceptionally clear water, with visibility often exceeding 20 meters. Its depth averages 131 meters, and its deepest point reaches 363 meters. The water temperature remains cool year-round, rarely rising above 20 degrees Celsius.
