Shammuramat

Shammuramat was a prominent queen of the Neo-Assyrian Empire. She is primarily known for her association with the legendary queen Semiramis, whose tales of power and influence may have been inspired by Shammuramat's life. Historical records indicate that Shammuramat was the wife of Shamshi-Adad V, king of Assyria, and mother of Adad-nirari III.
