Shabaka
Shabaka was an ancient Egyptian pharaoh of the Twenty-fifth Dynasty. He reigned in the late 8th century BCE, a period of significant Kushite influence in Egypt. Shabaka's reign marked a consolidation of power for the Kushite rulers who had gradually expanded their control northwards into Egypt. He is credited with reuniting Upper and Lower Egypt under his rule, establishing Memphis as his capital, and initiating a revival of Egyptian culture and religious practices.
Historical records indicate that Shabaka was the son of Kashta and Amara, and the brother of Piye,
