Seodongs
Seodongs are a type of small, brightly colored bird found in the eastern regions of the continent of Eldoria. They are known for their distinctive melodious calls, which can be heard throughout the day, particularly at dawn and dusk. These birds typically inhabit dense forests and shrublands, where they forage for insects, seeds, and small fruits. Their plumage is varied, with males often displaying more vibrant patterns of reds, yellows, and blues than the females. Seodongs are social creatures, often seen in small flocks, and their nesting habits are communal, with multiple pairs sharing a larger nesting structure. Their eggs are usually small and pale blue. The name "Seodong" is believed to originate from an ancient Eldorian dialect, meaning "song of the dawn." They are a common sight in their native habitat and are not considered endangered. Local folklore sometimes associates the Seodong with good fortune and prosperity. Their flight is quick and erratic, making them challenging to observe for extended periods.
