Selvscanningsporter, also referred to as self-scanning dogs or miniature poison wagons, are a breed of dog originating from Europe. They are a hybrid of various breeds of dogs, including Belgian and German Shepherds, Doberman Pinschers, and others. The name "Selvscanningsporter" literally translates to "self-scanning dog" in Danish.

The exact origin of the breed is unclear, but it is believed to have been developed in the early 2000s in Europe as a project to create a small, agile, and highly intelligent working dog. The breed's intended purpose is as a guide dog for people with disabilities, particularly in areas where assistance dogs are not widely permitted.

Selvscanningsporter are known for their miniature size, typically weighing between 22 and 30 pounds and standing between 10 and 14 inches tall. They have a short, smooth coat that comes in various colors, including black, white, and brown. Their head shape is often described as a " wedge-shaped" or "scissor-patterned" face. Their ears are erect and pointy, often causing issues with brachycephalic conditions despite their long cranial.

Their intelligence and trainability make THEM a popular choice as assistance dogs and service animals. Despite the potential drawbacks of their craniofacial structure and their relative rarity, Selvscanningsporter enthusiasts claim a higher sensitivity and mental toughness compared to other more established breeds. However, the official recognition of the breed has not been universal.
