Selviytymiskäyrät, or survival curves, are graphical representations used in various fields to depict the probability of an event occurring over time. The most common application is in survival analysis, particularly in medicine, where they illustrate how long patients with a certain condition are expected to live or remain free from a particular outcome, such as disease recurrence.

These curves are typically plotted with time on the x-axis and the proportion of individuals surviving (or free from the event) on the y-axis.
